Tom Biondo (b. 1952, New York) began his career as a fashion photographer in 1976 in New York City. He worked extensively with 8x10, 6x6, and 35mm formats, sometimes using all three formats for the same job. In 1983, Tom relocated to Paris, where he worked for major fashion magazines in France, Italy, Germany, and the UK, specializing in beauty, body, and skincare. In 1999, Tom returned to New York, shooting exclusively digitally while acquiring expertise in digital imaging, prepress, and color management. Three years later, he moved to Miami and directed large-format digital imaging divisions at several printing companies. He worked extensively in large format and fine art printing and finishing, using his photographic experience to produce the highest quality deliverables. During that time, he also held a position as an adjunct instructor in digital imaging, color management, and Photoshop at the prestigious Miami Ad School while continuing to work for fashion clients in Paris, Moscow, and New York. In 2011, Tom became Creative Director at The Royal Group, photographing, designing, and overseeing global advertising, e-commerce, and social media in the USA, Asia, and Europe. In addition, he conceived, developed, and produced Royal's international trade show exhibits. In 2021, he relocated to Frankfurt am Main, Germany, where he is working on personal projects and learning German.
